Finance Coordinator

Official Job title: Finance Coordinator 

Department:  Finance

Responsible to: CEO

Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon – Fri) *Must be flexible

Salary: £26k – £30k Depending on Experience

Location: London Office

The Role: The role involves having day-to-day responsibility for the accounts function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and all other internal financial reporting, records, and processes. Working autonomously, the successful candidate will be experienced and confident in finance administration skills. Preferably part qualified, they will also have experience in the preparation of budget reports and other financial information. Excellent organisation, IT, and communication skills are needed as well as the ability to build positive working relationships with the rest of the team, suppliers, and transfer merchants.  

Previous experience working within the charitable sector is an essential requirement for this position. A basic understanding of the distinction between restricted and unrestricted funds in the charity space is necessary, as well as appreciating the need to continuously monitor project funding and deliverables. Preferably previous users of Xero, but the experience gained in other bookkeeping software will be useful.

Salary: £150 per week

• Create and design print and digital materials
• Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadlines.
• Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media.
• Collaborate with the Media department to develop design concepts.

Requirements:

• Graphic Design background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, colour, and other graphic
design fundamentals.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
